Gingerbread rolls with Al Naturale Almond Milk

Dough Ingredients:

  • 200 ML al naturale almond milk 20%

  • 50g sugar, salt

  • 2 egg yokls

  • 7g dry yeast

  • 500g flour 

  • 50g melted butter


Syrup Ingredients:

  • 50g melted butter

  • nutmeg

  • ginger

  • cloves

  • cinnamon

  • 100g sugar


Icing Ingredients:

  • 3tbSP mascarpone

  • 2 tbsp al naturale almond milk 20%

  • 2 tbsp sugar


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Warm up the Al Naturale almond milk and pour in the yeast and sugar.

  2. in a large bowl mix the flour, salt, eggs, sugar and the warm milk together. Add the melted butter and mix in well. Set aside for 30 min in a warm place.

  3. Combine the ingredients for the syrup. Roll out the dough and brush with syrup.

  4. Once the dough is covered in the syrup mixture, roll the dough up and cut 2-3 cm  rolls.

  5. Put them in a tray and brush the leftover syrup as desired. Bake for 15 min at 190°C.

  6. Combine the mascarpone, almond milk and sugar. Pour icing into a piping bag.

  7. Wait until the rolls have cooled down and decorate your hearts content.
